Description of the exam test (s)
Enrollment in this undergraduate study program is conditional on having a certificate of English language skills (minimum level B2) which can be the result of:
– an international certification (Cambridge: Proficiency A, B or C, Advanced A, B or C, First A, B or C; IELTS: minimum 6 points; TOEFL: minimum 60 points);
– a distinction obtained at national or international Olympics certified by the Ministry of Education (I, II or III prizes);
– a certificate of completion of studies in English.
Candidates who do not fall into one of the previously mentioned categories can opt for the LIT Test, organized by the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology of the West University of Timișoara.
1. UVT language and reasoning skills evaluation test (60% of the admission average);
2. General average at the baccalaureate exam (40% of the admission mark).
Minimum criterion: the general average at the baccalaureate exam can only be equal to or greater than 7,00. Files in which this criterion is not met are not allowed.

The documents required for the application file for undergraduate university study programs within the Faculty of Sociology and Psychology are the following:

Marriage certificate – if appropriate;
Baccalaureate diploma or equivalent;
Medical certificate issued by the family doctor, not older than 90 days from the date of its presentation at the document collection office, certifying whether the candidate is fit to enroll in university studies and, if applicable, the conditions chronic conditions suffered by the candidate (neuropsychiatric, psycho-pathological, pulmonary, dermato-venereal, disability (type, degree), etc.). Specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.) or any special educational requirements will be attested by a diagnostic certificate;
Certificate certifying completion of another undergraduate university study program (completed or not at the time of submitting the file), in which the funding regime in which each year of studies was completed (with funding from the state budget/with a fee) , if it is/was carried out at a state higher education institution in Romania) and, if applicable, the years and semesters of studies in which the student benefited from the scholarship, respectively its type – if appropriate.
